love how Kupari is just getting better and better every game and using his size. Maybe he can convince Byfield that he is a strong giant, too.
 
I know Calgary has an excellent team and it's a tall ask to make this score hold up the rest of the way. But gotta say - after the game 2 home Kraken debacle and last night's tough Oilers game, I am impressed. We are erratic... young, but we are tough. And props to Cal, his composure in this one has been solid. Vilardi, Byfield, Kupari have also been terrific.
 
Flames had most of the time in their ozone. Cal was good. Kings fighting back.
 
I know I predicted disaster but, will happily eat some crow if they pull this out somehow.
 
Just kinda watching this one in a stupified state. The score doesn't match what I'm seeing for sure. But at the same time there's nothing completely obvious that's going wrong for the kings.

Cannot believe how much we have talked about this. He just doesn’t get off the ice to allow other lines to setup. He literally skates past the bench and stays on the ice, in a beer league everyone be cussing his ass off to give others a chance to play

Kupari is 22 and Byfield 19. Byfield has been using his size to win puck battles along the wall at a rather impressive rate. But he's not a strong giant yet; at the moment he's a tall, skinny kid. He'll be that strong giant, but it'll take a few years.

Once again. I applaud the NHL calling embellishment penalties. This season they seem to be called on the Kings but not their opponents.
