Kopi! What a sweet goal!

Another LA penalty. Jeannot is called for high-sticking and is serving two minutes instead of four, so no double-minor this time. But still, stop taking unnecessary penalties, Kings.

End of 1st period. Both teams get a goal each, but LA for the most part dominated that period because of spotty D from Chicago's part. Here's to the next 40 minutes of hockey as LA must not play down to Chicago's level.

Excuse me, folks, if you will, but I want to let out a rant about this Chicago team. No, not their players but their fans specifically. I seriously despise them. Why? Out of all of the Original Six teams, Hawks fans are by far the least knowledgeable fans of the Six. I remember back in the mid-2010s when they claimed to not be bandwagon fans in a fanpost site of theirs and think they're dedicated fans of the sport. Well, sorry, but that statement alone proves that they aren't real hockey fans but just people who just now recently discovered the sport since their Cup win in 2010. Well, I can understand that their horrible owner in Bill Wirtz was responsible for dragging this team down to the point of blacking out their games up until his death in 2007, but still. What the Golden State Warriors are to modern NBA fanbases, the Hawks are the NHL equivalent of Warriors fans: both teams with fanbases that have a comical lack of knowledge of their respective league's sports. And another thing that really bothers me about Hawks fans: they constantly break the number one unwritten rule of sports fan behavior and that is - wearing your favorite team's jersey in games where your team is not actually playing. I know people from other fanbases do this too at times but no one sticks out more than Hawks fans. I even see some of them wear Hawks jerseys in the Toyota Arena during Reign games even if their AHL affiliate, Rockford IceHogs, is not even playing in the game (and I definitely can wager that Hawks fans don't know what the IceHogs are and/or what the AHL is). It's just obnoxious and makes them look stupid. I don't care if their reasoning for doing that is somewhere between the lines of "I just love hockey"; if you want to show actual sports fan etiquette in those type of games, wear neutral, non-sports attire if you don't want to look like a goof. Seriously, it's common sense in the sports world.

Oh, and that goal song of theirs, Chelsea Dagger, is by far the worst, most annoying goal song in the league. Give me a break. That alone pretty much sums up this clownshow fanbase.
