***LA Kings @ Colorado Avalanche GDT 3/27/25 7:00pm on ESPN***

They were saying on the radio that we are 3-13-2 in our last 18 meeting with the Avs... Looks like it's gonna be 3-14-2

Kings were sloppy and slow from the opening puck drop. They never found their legs and the Avs kept applying pressure waiting for the Kings to crack and then implode. Ugly but predicable outcome tonight.

All these games in a short span (including that high energy game against the Rangers two days ago) probably didn't help. IT will be interesting to see how the Kings fare agains the Avs at Crypto. Remember, Carolina got blown out by the Kings this past weekend. This is really the opposite side of that for the Kings now.

This is the same team that managed to beat 3 of the best teams in their respective divisions earlier this season. And yet they couldn't do jack crap towards this team tonight. Well, I understand that the Kings struggled against weak teams like the Hawks, Sharks, and Preds, but still. And yes, I understand that this Avs team is not weak at all, but this Kings team seems to be sleepwalking in their performance right now.

The Kings should have pumped Leah's voice into their helmets to p*ss them off and fire them up. It's making me want to break things, that's for sure. And my job is teaching people voice over, so I have heard every type of voice in the world.... Hers is pretty much the worst ever

So basically the Kings are only planning to win home games and not road games. That's a recipe for disaster, especially in the playoffs, if you drop one home game, that means this Kings team will just bend over asap.

I’m sure the compressed schedule didn’t help but right as I’m typing this the Kings had another awful, lazy line change. No excuse for that.
