He did drag his back foot and it would’ve been fine if Fiala didn’t do a pointless stickhandle at the blue line.

And yet just after Fiala enters the zone, the defenseman's stick makes contact with his stick. Kevin had to hold up to maintain possession or the puck would get poked away. The D hadn't backed off like you claimed.

But feel free to create your own reality if it suits the story of making Fiala the LGK whipping boy.
