I am not sure Quick knew that the Kings defense was going to play the way they are this season. And why retire after having a good season last season? He is under contract so why leave money on the table when you still want to play. He's not the problem.

I agree his numbers are not good, however what we have seen on defense this season is terrible. He has made some incredible saves in games this year and we have all said, this game would be over by now if Quick wasn't in net. He gets zero help
 
JAD is finally playing like he belongs in the NHL. Great to see him stick this time.
 
If we had like league average goaltending, we’d be 1st in the Conference
