***LA Kings @ Columbus Blue Jackets GDT 12/11/22 >>3:00pm<< on BSW***

They got a point, take the point and skate off. When you get a point when playing a better team on the road, that is not too shabby.

Well damn. Guess the pity point will have to do. Good comeback though, Kings. Kopi really stepped up.

That was CLEARLY intentionally hit in off a glove!

I'm guessing because Fiala just barely got a stick on it, they allow it? That has to be the only explanation but still BS.

I'm not sure the rule on this. Johnny clearly batted that in with his glove but then Fiala sort of knocked it into the net...or rather helped it into the net. If Fiala hadn't touched it that clearly should have been disallowed....but....

On the plus side, Kopitar and Kempe heating up at the same time augurs well for the game in Buffalo.

Hope Gabe can restart the fire again soon too. But I am really liking the overall scoring balance this year.

It was a hell of a move by Laine though

Undressed Durzi, great save by Quick. Shame it was for naught.

I wouldn't have any gripes as a Kings fan if that was disallowed the other way around.

Hopefully someone can chime in with the exact wording of the rule, because obviously and unfortunately Fiala's touch played a role.

My understanding is that if it goes off a glove the other team could fire it into their own net and its not supposed to count. Ill be interested to hear the nhl explanation.

This season is really highlighting the team’s deficiencies - size/physicality, goaltending and defense. That’s a good thing long term.

It would p*ss me right off if the explanation was they couldn't tell if it went of johnnys glove.
