GDT ***LA Kings @ Dallas Stars GDT 12/15/25 5:00pm on FanDuel***

Had to turn the game off after end of the 2nd as I am fighting a bug right now. I was very bored watching that game. Which has been the theme the last few games. Putting Perry/Helenius/Mallott out just to push and face wash was disheartening. I really wanted to see one of those guys grab Ranttenen by the throat and was very disappointed - and even more so after seeing the score when I woke up. NHL has to know he doesn't do any of his sh!t by accident. The guy is a menace.

Regionally speaking are you tied to the Seattle broadcast, San jose or Utah? Just curious.
I use an illegal streaming site to watch hockey; there isn’t any cable service for it here (Corvallis). Geographically I’m probably closest to Seattle. But I’ve never really been a fan of the City of Seattle. Culturally, I’m kind of more conservative and most major cities are not, especially LA. But SLC does lean that way. I’ve been there a few times and really like it. I also have a Fezzari mountain bike, and they’re from Provo.

Sport team fandom does not have to make any sense whatsoever.🤣

The fact that Rantanen made it out of this game with all of his teeth intact really bothers me.
What bothers me is what Macklin Celebrini reminded me of the other day. When he went after the Pen player that took out Smith. Shows guts and heart. It bothered me because it was a reminder of this teams "gentle" style of play and the "turn the other cheek" attitude of its top players. It bothers me because I am becoming comfortable watching the other California teams play and actually be ok with them winning. Actually rooting for them. What has the current Kings management/team done to me?

It says you know and appreciate proper hockey and our Kings
don't have a clue. Kopi can stick his Lady Bings. Attitude
reflects leadership.

Malkin all over again.

The passivity of this organization in a sport that demands physicality is outright shameful.
Even after all these years, I actually still think about that play he made against Wayne Simmonds, whenever we play the Penguins. I’ve always wondered if Wayne sought out his own revenge later on, while playing with another team. I don’t think so, and that always surprised me, given the rough and tumble nature of ol’ Night Train.

To double down on the Rantanen thing, I don’t know if you guys are aware, but he’s made several very questionable hits just this season, that had other fan bases calling for his head, or at the very least, a suspension. Both boarding plays which happened within several games of one another, and I think he injured the other player on both occasions.

It was in 2009.
It wasn't long after this (Kings were still rebuilding) that Williams, Mitchell, and Richards were brought in. That NEVER would have happened to the 2012-14 Kings (or if it did, the whole team would have responded).

When I saw that Byfield & Danault were going to be out I knew it was going to be a hard game to win. Then when Kuemper got hurt that made winning even harder. Although Forsberg played pretty well. But I kind of thought there would be a built in excuse for losing that game. But I thought they played better than the Calgary game, even if they didn’t get a point. I just think Rantanen should never have gotten the opportunity to be the hero of the game. When he ran Darcy 5 guys should’ve jumped him right away. Then every time he touched the puck afterwards there should’ve been a body on him making his life miserable. That call was BS. There should’ve been a goalie interference call. But that’s why you can’t count on the refs to get justice. You have to take matters into your hands. And I know if what I want happened, they’d call the Kings & not Rantanen. But I’d take the penalty if it meant we stood up for our goalie & best player.
