Well, gotta give credit to the Kings and the young guys for staying in the game and fighting back. Keep it up Kings.
 
Something happened in the middle of the game that awakened the Kings, the good Kings.

Now they look like they know they can play with these guys. More confident. More assertive. That kill at the end of the period was excellent.

Gotta love that Grundstrom is plus 3 and Kaliyev is plus 2… the guys without a center to call their own.
 
This has been an intense and exciting game no doubt. Can't fall asleep with the current thunderstorms approaching so maybe I will catch the third

With the top line being ineffective stoping the Oilers top line the kids are getting it done by putting pucks in the net. Oilers just showing how top heavy they are. Kings top line continuing their poor play, even on the defensive side
 
Kopitar has had about three holding calls with his free hand not called while defending McDavid an Draisaitl.
 
I've never heard more crying for penalities than tonight's Sportsnet feed
