Good thing we didn't try to score on the last 15 seconds to take it to the shootout. FML.
 
Kopitar sucks at shootouts. Stop.

Kings shouldn't have pushed for shootout so bad and been more aggressive in the OT. Obvious outcome is obvious.

I didn't think SO was gonna favor the Kings against the Oilers scorers. And it didn't lol. :Dancing_mad:
 
Great effort, shoot out never going our way against the Oilers. But still why Kopitar, put a sniper out there. That move by Kopitar is ten years old
 
Shootouts I'd be putting young dudes out there every single time. Unexpected moves and energy is what's needed. Kopi's "shot" was sad to watch.
 
Why not Kempe? How about the hot hand in Arty? You know McJesus is an automatic. TM is so ****in conservative. Who got you those goals? The rookies.
 
This is all on the coaching staff inability to adjust in game, just rolling the same old lines regardless how they play. No wonder he got reverse swept .
 
Anyone with site can tell that quick with playing way too aggressive and any player with speed and a lateral move can quickly go around him it's automatic

Unrelated to tonight's game a little bit, but before this season I was real nervous about having a young/new team. At this point I'm ecstatic to see what they are bringing and can't wait for them to become the new top lines.
 
I'm not worried about losing in the shootout, the Kings should have won this game in the OT. That was a pathetic attempt toward end of OT. The Kings understand they don't have the skill for the shootout, however they still take it back instead of moving forward. That was pathetic. I would rather lose in OT than go to the SO.
 
3 points from these 3 games should keep their hold on the playoff position. 4 would be outstanding.

If you are referring to the shootout, he faced to two best one on one players in the league. They’ll make any goaltender look foolish

Agree with 12 games left it’s about points, we keep grinding out points were in. Wins would certainly be better but after the last game I didn’t see us getting anything tonight. Just need to keep Vegas behind us, second in the division is gravy

Was talking to a friend last night over a few cold ones that is a huge Avs fan here in Denver. Smart hockey guy, he’s scared to death of this team going forward. I’m excited!
