***LA Kings @ Florida Panthers GDT 1/29/25 4:00pm on FanDuel***

End of 1st period. Woof, 18 SOGs for Florida and 8 for LA. One goal for Florida and a would be goal by Ferry got wrongly denied by the [L]EC refs because a Florida player tripped Lewie and forced him into Bob, which should have counted. LA's lucky to be down by only one goal at the moment as they were outplayed by Florida that period. The Kings need to step up and get back to form in the 2nd period.

Byfield and Foegele not being on the same line together is probably why they're both struggling to get something in the O-zone recently. I'm certain of it. I know you like to mix up line combinations, Hiller, but I would rather you don't fix what ain't broken in the first place when it comes to certain players potentially developing chemistry with each other.

anyone else have no announcers on Fan Duel West? Commercials come in fine - but i'm hearing the sound from the arena.

Guess that means listening to the ESPEN radio app
 
Really good game so far. Yeah, we're not winning, but it's a very good hockey game. I think I'm going to have to watch more Panthers games toward the end of the season here. This hard-hitting style is what made me love hockey in the first place. Back in the olden days when there was more hitting.

I like them too. They're a very good team... big, fast, smart...a very well coached team, with a world class goalie to boot
...except for Tkachuk, of course
 
The inability to cleanly receive or accurately make passes has become appalling in this past month. It's baffling to me.
