***LA Kings @ Minnesota Wild GDT 4/10/22 >>2:00pm<< on KCOP Ch13***

oh well....at least I'll save all that money on playoff tickets, and I have the Hurricanes to root for

They still can make it in the playoffs, but this game is just leaving a bad taste in your mouth. Just like that Seattle game a couple of weeks ago.

The high points of the season have been 32 goals from Kempe, the emergence of Danault as an offensive force, and the experience gained by the kids.

The defense will definitely be better next year, but Blake still has some big holes to fill among the forwards and in the goal.

Big time! I am looking at a McLellan as a transitional coach. Kinda like the Terry Murray period. Todd won't lead this team to the promised land.

Frankly, I'm not sure how the guy continues to get work with his choking history.

I feel sorry for those Kings fans there behind the bench who paid big bucks for those seats

How many points does Iafallo have in 2022? Is it still one goal and 5 assists since Jan 1?

If for no other reason, Todd should be fired for allowing him to rack up first line minutes.

Lemieux is not helping. While he has his moments, I don't see him as a long term asset either.

If it wasn't Iafallo, it would of been Brown. Look at how long he took to take him off the first line. And now his stubbornness with the PP. If the Kings don't make it, whoever's in charge of the PP should be fired.

I maintain that if Mikey never got hurt that’s a few more points in the standings. His injury is the dagger on top of the void left by Doughty.

However, that does not excuse AI’s disappearance or Cal’s mediocrity. The Byfield line is going to be inconsistent. The 4th line has had its own injury issues. The young D are very young and at times overwhelemed.

But two very important players of what should be the new core have failed the team down the stretch.

Agree.

Sits Kaliyev & Iafallo gets 1st pp time?
Awful special teams 2 years in a row and can't figure it out
Doesn't play the Byfield line as much as possible
Plays Kopi ridiculous minutes
Doesn't call a timeout
Doesn't pull Cal
Can't light a fire under the team...maybe yell at a ref...maybe even get kicked out..something, anything

I kind of get the feeling that he'd like to be a McSorley to this team but, he has a looong wat to go to be that valuable of player.

At least I won't have to worry about trying to catch Kings playoff games while out on the road this spring. We are starting out this year with a tour across Canada. Should be a lot of games on off days with Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton looking so strong.
