Zhekaj is from Slovakia, and Slovaks have really weird pronunciations for their names because of their quaint language. At least their Czech neighbors are easier to pronounce with their own names.
Dave didn’t make the mess in that situation. He was a victim of the chaos created when the refs missed a potential interference call as a Montreal player blasted into Mikey in front of the net. Anderson then fell into the crease preventing Rittich from moving to his right. But Mikey got that goal back pretty quickly!Rittich definitely misplayed that lone Habs goal, but are we really not gonna talk about who lost their check coming down from the point, and allowed the Canadien player to swoop down below the goal line and behind the net, unabated?
Apparently nothing serious, still day to day.I wonder what happened to Kuemper? I thought maybe sick at first but am seeing lower body, which I guess could be considered as sick still. I have no problems with Rittich however.
His surname is 100% Albanian. My bad, Xhekaj (that's how it's spelled) is Canadian but for some reason, isn't of Slovak origin; he has both Albanian and Czech ancestry. Well, the Czech origin isn't that far off but his Albanian side...

Shake up? Maybe not, but definitely needed, as QB and Fiala were a hot mess together. Both of them needed their safety blankie returned to them, meanwhile, Turcotte is playing like an actual NHL level center, and deserves his own line and the promotion. Is changing the top 2 lines back to last years lineup really shaking things up? Seemed like an (obvious) desperation move more so, as those lines clearly have more gel. Hopefully with a different structure in place, if they stick to said lines, they can be more creative and flexible against teams like.. Edmonton. Turcotte's been a stand-out so far. Good game.
