He's looking better than Talbot and especially Copley recently. Talbot is still a glorified backup goalie pretending to be starter material while Copley unfortunately is damaged goods at this point in his career.

The multi angle replays of the Lewis goal shows off how impressive QB was on that shift. The board work was strong, using his size, vision and makes the perfect soft pass to the slot.

What's most amazing about that pass was the fact there were so many sticks he had to sift through...great precision and soft touch!

This all gives Blake a difficult problem when Arvy comes back. An even more difficult problem when Lizzo comes back. Assume Laffy and Clarke will go to Ontario. And, if Turcotte actually is a keeper, what do you do with JAD and/or Kaliyev if Blake hopes to keep 12 forwards and 7 defensemen on the roster? I think Blake needs to work the phones hard over this break.

McLellan seems to like having Grundstrom in the lineup too. But I would love to see them package Kaliyev and Grundstrom to get a decent draft pick or a sandpaper guy.
