Was at the game - what a snore fest, but we will take the win. Kids enjoyed the warmup and seeing Kopitar up and close one last time. In the first period, they showed him on the jumbotron and the announcer talked about all of his accomplishments and there was a pretty big ovation. I guess that’s happening all over, but it was pretty classy (especially as Kopitar was always a sore point with Sens fans because they chose Brian Lee when they could’ve drafted him)

I don’t know if it was shown on tv, but being there I saw him come back out and test it before going to the dressing room. He had weight on it, but clearly couldn’t go. Figured it was a good sign he skated for a moment with weight on it though.

Like everyone else, concerned for Doughty even though we should all be proud of these guys leading the division by points. With all the doom and gloom we get on about you have to enjoy the nice things because they can be fleeting.

Salin - undersized at 5' 11". 183 lbs. Little AHL experience.Good skater. Think Spence with less offensive upside.
Millar - Good size at 6' 5". 220 lbs. Solid defender +19 last season. Little to no offense

Sure hope Drew is not lost long term... the Kings right side problem is very exposed.
