***LA Kings @ Philadelphia Flyers GDT 12/19/24 4:30pm on ESPN+, Hulu & Disney+***

I saw the score before I watched the game. So I thought it was going to be a blowout like the Rangers game. But it wasn't for most of out. In fact during the 2nd I thought maybe I saw the wrong score or who won. But they turned it on in the 3rd so that was good. I still think the Flyers played better than the Rangers.

That sounds better than "oh and here's another goal" that interrupted PK's 64th story.

And all throughout the 2nd period "You still think the Kings are the better team?" he said that about 20 times along with great quotes such as "I like the flyers, they earn ever goal", "the flyers are the much better team they just don't get the bounces". What an absolute tool bag. He did say that Kopitar crushed him with a hug, though, which was pretty funny. That was about the nicest thing he said about the Kings all broadcast.
 
Not sure if it is just me, but seems like the Kings have been on the road for the vast majority of the season. 19/32 will do that, yes, but seems more to me. I also see they have a 5 game road trip in January and then another 5 gamer in January/February. Schedule makers not doing the Kings any favors this year, but I can't complain. Boys are playing beyond my expectations and making it a fun season so far.

Aren't all the road games early because Crypto was supposed to have some renovations going on early in the season and then the Grammy road trip?

And Steve Levy is one of the worst on the national circuit. His play-by-play is pedestrian, his observations are shallow, his voice is neither pleasing nor musical, and his sense of his own importance is infuriating. I have to mute the TV any time he is talking. In fact, I'd rather listen to half a dozen full broadcasts of Brian Hayward than thirty seconds of Steve Levy. To call him a tool is an insult to every tool I own.

That period was simply crazy. Have heard some slanted calls but that was several levels worse. Also just kind of dumb. Periods are even or one team has a better period than the other. Making that big a deal out of the Flyers having a good period was amateur for anyone let alone a former great player.
 
So I was in a hurry with the holidays and totally forgot there was a part 2 to the question...Whoopsie.
