I thought that was just me & my crappy WiFi. I had to go find a place to watch the game. If I’d known they would lose 6-1 I wouldn’t have spent over $30 for food & drinks.

Congratulations to Nyssa for her first total shutout of the GDT with the total troll poll question that inevitably doomed the team. Like the Kings there were no winners last night.


Considering it was the teams first 3 in 4, Todds comments were correct inasmuch as they could be. They did come out establishing play and getting pucks to the net. Yes that first goal against was a tough seeing eye shot. The second goal comes off a totally busted play, but one where Cal overcommitted. It was at that point you could see the Penguins players really grab hold of the bridle, and Cal's mistakes (or Quicks) regardless, the team looked tired as a whole. Todd can go on all he wants about the fourth line showing up but the reality is when a team is up 13-3 in shots and there's nothing to show for it on your end of the scoreboard they own some of that. Anyway they get a couple of days, do whatever it is they do, then focus on the Capitals.

As always, I accept full responsibility for this loss. And, as always, I can't help but laugh at myself during these games where it seems like I'm psychic with my poll questions. This one was literally just me being exhausted at whatever late hour I was finishing the GDT and putting down the first, easiest thing that popped into my head!
