***LA Kings @ San Jose Sharks GDT 10/29/24 7:00pm on ESPN***

The kid wanted to play another year of college, from what I recall. So, are you saying Blake was pissed because he would not sign an early contract, so he dumped him the first chance he got? Then Blake had the Mayor spread some rumors making Faber sound like he wanted out.

This is the way I remember it.
Hoven never spread rumors saying Faber wanted out and has said emphatically on KOTP that there was no evidence Faber wasn’t going to sign with the Kings.

Each passing year a college player doesn’t sign the closer he gets to being a UFA. It’s pretty simple math. Blake hedged his bets and pulled in a ppg player in his prime.

The NHL has always viewed itself as the pinnacle, when someone deigns to offer 2-4 games as 1 year off your ufa obligation and you counter with "I want to win an NCAA championship" it's fairly viewed as "good day" in spirited

First chance? How about the only chance.

Tomorrow will be brutal. I missed by day and OT. I had SJ winning their first game of the season tonight.

Are we playing the 2024 version of Left Wing Lock? LW seems to be the go to on every play no matter what.

And ..dangit, TT
