He just cant play the way he did six years ago physically. He overplays every entry and finds himself out of position. That was just overplaying a cross ice pass, if in goes in behind you it’s on you. I said it early on that we needed playoff Quick but I don’t think he exists anymore and I hope he proves me wrong at some point
 
If Quick can't put together even a modest string of competence and contribute to some wins, this is going to be a sad ending to a legendary Kings career.

I just watched the replay....Roy tipped the shot straight to Perry. Had Quick been allowed to make the save that goal probably doesn't happen. Let your goalie goaltend.

What is sad, the team needs a no.1 goalie and a competent backup goalie. Where do the Kings stand with that statement?

To be honest it is really hard for me to be objective when talking about Quickie. This is beyond hard to watch for a guy we all care about. He is going to have to adapt his play so that he can still be relevant on this team.

I feel the same way. Quick is a legend but he’s also a shell of his former self. Brutal.
 
Let be clear, tonight the entire team looks like S#@#!! Back to back against a quality team and they seem disinterested. It is a game where your goaltender needs to step up and keep you in the game when no one else shows up in the first. He hasn’t done that and that’s what’s frustrating me so far. I’ve been defending him for years and have three of his jerseys, my son modeled his game after him and got to meet him a couple times but age stinks and makes us all ineffective at some point

His entire game has always been super aggressive and he's definitely on the backside of his career, but everyone dogpiling on every goal he lets in gets irritating. It's not like he's letting in dump-ins from the red line. Oh, wait....he's done that. mhihi:
 
As long as Thousand Oaks is out, they need to try somebody besides Iaffalo on that line. They've been invisible.

Pretty obvious that Moore was the engine on that line. 24 & 33 have both gone quiet with Moore on the DL. AI does not possess Trevor’s skills.
