I have to say it again: Kopi is not effective as a Captain, if being Captain means getting the boys around you to show some fire out in the ice. Not that things would change with someone else wearing the C, because every Blake-built roster is not good enough.
 
Unfortunate that Anderson will not return because of that wrist injury he sustained earlier in the 1st. Well, Hiller is going to have to re-activate Clarke in their trip to Carolina the next game.
 
Missed the second period too, but the word on the street is the Kings almost scored a goal.
Somewhere Out There Beyond the Horizon there's a man named Gabe who's having a good chuckle watching this Kings offense.

I don't mean to rag on you Kopi-as-captain apologists here but now some of you are slowly starting to sour on him after his ineffectual performance the latter part of this month. Well, I've never wanted Kopi as captain to begin with but I've got to admit that he has been effective in achieving scoring points as official captain since 2018. But yeah, as a lead-by-example type of captain, he frankly falls short when compared to Brown. Unfortunately, Blake isn't going to strip him of the captaincy unless Kopi either gets traded or he retires. Got to keep the status quo, I guess.

Could Vasilevskiy SO our Kings like Bob did last night? I sure hope not, but unfortunately, it's quite possible the way the Kings are playing recently.
