These guys hold on to the puck and try to "will" the other team's players out of the way. While doing that the other team is allowed to reset their position and block the lanes. This is just awful hockey being played by this team.
 
Game over. B2B SOs against the Kings, can you imagine that? LA is now mentally broken towards the end of this month. The whole team cratered offensively, they let down both Kuemper and Rittich in spite of their performances in net, and Kopi is really deserving to be questioned if he can effectively captain this team to another PO run. Deja vu all over again like last season. As for Blake, he got lucky to still keep his job after that debacle that was the PLD trade last season as well as a third first-round PO exit against Edmonton. This season, he won't be so lucky if the Kings don't make the PO or get bounced out in the first-round again.

Things that stood out to me this game:

-Rittich played amazing - so glad to see him bounce back
-Moverare should remain in the lineup, he was solid
-Doughty blew his coverage leading to the 2nd goal and was caught watching on the empty netter. He is now a -4 in two games. Time for him to finally place the team before himself and reduce his minutes instead of playing gassed
-Kings are a good team getting bad bounces, but not yet a great team

LA Yetis or LA Sasquatch? Rumored as being real (hockey team) but never proven (real producing hockey team), Kings so sad... Saturday will be interesting. Praying for Mikey A.
 
Just got done watching the game. Will we ever score a goal again? Yikes! This road trip has been brutal. It’s all your fault ICE24. 😉😂
 
I’m pretty pissed that we’re not scoring. I’m even more pissed that when we do score it gets called back again. For stupid offsides. And now it’s over an interpretation of if Moverare controlled it when he passed it over the line. Or whatever BS explanation that was. So if it was offsides why didn’t the linesman blow it down? I’m more & more convinced after every one of these that if it’s not blatant enough for the linesman to blow it down then it shouldn’t be overturned. And I hope Mikey’s not out too long. They probably should’ve gone 11/7 this game.
 
Maybe the problem with the Kings is a conditioning problem. They started out strong last season and then hit a wall around the same time. Maybe their entire training program needs to be revamped. I don't notice this kind of problem with any of the teams the Kings have been playing lately. They're all skating circles around the Kings.
 
Kings beat again by a faster, tighter checking team. That's supposed to to be their M.O.
You can really tell the difference between a team that has gel (Panthers, Bolts) vs a team that doesn't (Kings).
Slumps suck. Makes you question everything you're doing.
Hiller needs to shake it up a bit. Its not going to get any easier Saturday vs the newly improved Canes.
He's scratched Clarke now for 2 games. Will he be back bc Mikey's out?
Who's next? Not Kempe, Movarare or Kopitar IMO
