Tough game tonight! Hope we can ride the high from the last few wins. Gotta stay physical - Tampa came back when they started throwing their bodies around.

I wonder if Tucker Poolman (on the IR) is the only NHL player ever from Dubuque, IA? I lived there from age 6mos-4 1/2 years old. All I remember about it is my street, and lots of cows and cornfields. There were basically cows in my back yard (not belonging to my family). We lived sort of on the edge of town, but on a residential street.

1st period comes to a close. Both teams each get a goal but Vancouver controlled most of the period after LA scored. There was some physicality between both teams but so far no big fracas. The 2nd period is going to see the intensity get turned up a notch.
