***LA Kings @ Vancouver Canucks GDT 4/28/22 >> 7:00pm << on BSW***

Well, 99 points at least. I think it's safe to say most of us would have taken that before the season started. But an even 100 would be nicer.

Oh well good for the Nucks fans that showed up in a full arena for a uneventful game and kudos for the respect for Brownie from the Vancouver fans

aww watching Kopi with Brown there, made me cry....all those years together

Yeah, that was a nice send-off...Brownie even got a hug from The Beaver. Almost got choked up watching that. Good for Vancouver.

Kings have had some very good captians, Taylor, the Great one, but won two Cups with Brown as their captain. That says a real lot about Brown. I know he didn't have the kind of year he would have wanted but he will go down as the first captain to lead his team to two stanley cup wins. Thank you Brown for your awesome contribution to the Kings organization. You are a real class act. Wish you the best in retirement and look forward to seeing you help the kings in a different capacity.

Thank you very much Nyssa and Jammer!!! Great job as always!

Congratulations to srm1105!

Now lets go and win one for Brownie!

This was the 1st game in a while that it really didn't matter if they won or lost. Yes 100 points would've been nice. But the night really belonged to Brownie. It was classy of the Canucks & their fans to honor him the way they did. And I loved seeing the hugs he got from his current teammates & his ex-teammates & coach on the Canucks. But that huge hug from Kopi at the end brought a tear to my eye.

This has been a great regular season. They had to overcome so much to make it to the playoffs. They used 22 forwards, 14 defensemen, & 3 goalies this season. Any other team would be fighting for a lottery pick. Even thinking back 6 games ago, Vegas was right on our heels. Those were must win games that they won & Vegas didn't. The heart & guts they showed in getting through the regular season is why I like our chances against Edmonton. And we've got Quick in net who's playing like it's 2012.

Go Kings Go!
