End of 2nd period. After an anemic PP effort, the Kings finally get a goal late in the period by Foegele. But Vegas still has a 2 goal lead and though they had chances, they're mostly sitting on their lead at the moment. Time to take back the game for the next 20 minutes, LA, and don't let up and allow Vegas to score another insurance goal.
 
we still suck, but at lest we didn't suck quite as much in that period. Good job, Foegele - I liked you on the Canes & I hope to like you on the Kings!

I've been watching the Kings since their first season in LA, and I don't ever recall a road trip of this magnitude to start their year. No excuses, but it's one week til November and the Kings still haven't touched home ice.

4-1 Vegas now. An insurance goal by the Knights, especially in the 3rd period, is the last thing LA needs. Seriously, LA has done a poor job defending their zone.
 
Hear me out. Kings just send Lee out there by himself and just takes the whole team on. His stick is also allowed to be on fire.
 
5-1 Vegas. This game is over. Even the shaking up in lines is not working for Hiller and LA. Enjoy this victory while you can, fake fans of Vegas. You won't be all smiles when you face off against real teams such as the Rangers, Bruins, and the Leafs later this season.

I always thought the idea was 2nd line center,
maybe first-line winger.

He’s still very young and he’s got no help out there. Heck, Brown looked like he was going to be a third-liner before the Kings almost traded him. Kempe was also MIA for a while.
