GDT ***LA Kings @ Vegas Golden Knights GDT 10/8/25 >>7:00pm<< on TNT & HBOmax***

Flames won :( Kings went from 31st to 7th in the league overnight, that's the smell of Kings hockey! GO KINGS GO!!!!

I'd pick Cow-gry over Deadmonton when concerning the Battle of Alberta, even when M.Tkachuk was with the former many seasons ago. Deadmonton has been ticking us off since the 80s, even though I was born in '88 and too young to witness Deadmonton's accomplishments that time.

Vegas really pissed that game away. It reminds me of the "cookie night" game against Buffalo when we had a 2 goal lead and stopped playing the right way. Vegas got sloppy and the Kings capitalized. Woot!

This really is turning into Byfield's team too.
They got all the momentum from the penalties but otherwise that was not an impressive game by them. Let Kings get to the net all night given how few shots the Kings had. Early season hockey for both teams.

Yep. Kempe is getting held back, so to speak. That top line is not getting anything accomplished 5 on 5.

And you thought ESPN was bad…

This is after the game on TNT…BTW, Boston won that game…some doofus reversed those numbers.

Nah, too early. Someone else will be "it" for the time being. If he's still with the Kings it should've been Danault...but we all know it's going to be Drew.

Crosby was made C of the Penguins at age 19. QB may be 3-4 years older at that point and though he's not as phenomenally gifted as Crosby is, it can be made possible, so one can't safely discount that. And though we value defensive players in our roster, I don't want another strictly D-minded player to be the next Kings' C unless we're talking about Norstrom. DD and Danault aren't that worthy to be C of the Kings 'cause they aren't total packages of their fields despite their veterancy. And though QB isn't a complete package of a player yet, he's younger and more capable enough to captain this team than DD or Danault.

I missed the entire game! Had no freakin idea they even played today. Sad I missed this one.

Tough time of year to fit the Kings in...Rams season ticket holder (even a few Chargers games)...playoff tickets to the Dodgers (tonight sucked)...two new grandkids (both girls...now eight grandaughters and one grandson)...mix in a few a few concerts (Nine Inch Nails, McCartney, Wet Leg)...and some out of town business ventures (some interest in turning my book into a movie)... and somehow I miss the Kings beating Vegas...in Vegas!

This game should have been at the top of my list and I didn't even know they were playing. I usually do my best to make it to Vegas for Kings games. But I did not expect the year to start wth back-to-back games, one at home and the other on the road. That's what I get for not prioritizing my Kings and checking the road schedule.

But dammit man...sounds like it was one hell of a game!

No worries...longtime Kings fan here who also has Chargers season seats, a family, just got back from Eagles Sphere in Vegas....and I almost missed the game until I saw it on the phone this morning. It happens.

Awesome win on quite possibly the toughest back-to-back in the West.
