End of 1st period. The Kings woke up and scored 2 goals in this period while fending off SOGs from Vegass. But there's still 40 more minutes left in this game and Vegass will definitely feel the need to come back in the next two periods so LA can't afford to just sit back and lay off.

The Kings have been cursed by the 2nd Period Hex last season and even though it's only two games in this season, they're letting it affect them again. I swear, the Kings keep making it a bad habit to the point that it's maddening.
And pathetic because I simply don’t understand why Hiller refuses to play those lines when they consistently bring the top lines back into the game
