It's a good thing the skills competition isn't in the playoffs. (Not that they'd make it)Ducks made that look easy

Well, he whined enough about it in the press. You can have him Canada, he's USA's secret weapon. LOLI have no idea what the Team Canada coaches saw when they decided to add Doughty
The better "team" did not win. The Kings skaters totally outplayed the Ducks and lost to Dostal. It happens. You're only as good as your last game. Ducks are playing well. They are going to make a run. Better team won tonight but the Kings did get a point. So they go into the break as losers.
Agree. This was very easily Doughty’s best game since coming back. I thought he was the Kings best D-man tonight. You guys are nuts, DD has had a fabulous game.
What team is playing better in the last 10 games? The 6-3-1 or the 4-4-2 team. The better "team" did not win. The Kings skaters totally outplayed the Ducks and lost to Dostal. It happens.

The Kings now have plenty of time to sit quietly and think about what they have done.So they go into the break as losers.
You heard right. There was a smattering of boo's. I was probably the loudest smatterer.I couldn’t hear the volume real well during the TW ceremony. Just curious, did Flake get BOOO’d?
Sounds crazy but I actually like to see the Ducks and Sharks finally showing that they have a path to being competitive again.

At least Burroughs got his 2 minutes of ice time.
At best they were evenly matched. Thought the Kings were the better team overall but we got goalied a bit, came up with some big saves. And the Kings were playing their 3rd game in 4 days...I know, it's an excuse the also a realistic issue for any hockey team. Bottom line is they Kings had opportunities to convert, didn't, and the end result is what happens often when you let lesser teams hang around. You're only as good as your last game. Yeah, it was far less than I expected. The first period was an absolute bore. Kongs were super sloppy at times, I immediately had that uh-oh feeling which unfortunately played out. I was a bit surprised to see a fairly low turnout of Sucks fans. Boston, Chicago, Edmonton...heck, most teams, get far more opposing fan support. You heard right. There was a smattering of boo's. I was probably the loudest smatterer.
But seriously, there were a few people booing. I thought it was pretty funny. The look on Blake's face...I think he heard it too!
I won't go as far as saying it was a boring game...not like a few I went to this year...but it was definitely low-event. Gotta hand it to the Ducks goalie. Not much else to say.
