Fagemo was just recalled. Guessing that leg injury to Lizotte was pretty serious.

Yeah, that was my fear as well. We will find out soon as I believe there will need to be a corresponding move given the cap space issues. Assuming it will be IR for Lizzo, hopefully not LTIR. Will get interesting to see what happens when he comes back. Someone will be the odd man out.

Hoping to enjoy a Kings victory tonight after one of the worst sports weekends in recent memory... Kings and Rams lose in Detroit... then I get confused about the starting time and miss the Kings game yesterday.

The Rams loss really stung...

...oh well, life goes on, and a Kings win will really help lift my spirits.

Also the penalty called on the play was incorrect. It should’ve been a Clipping call. Orlov attempted a hip check and made direct contact with Lizotte’s knee. That’s a textbook Clipping infraction.

I think Nyssa may be correct about Kopitar and Anderson nursing injuries. Both seem to have left hand/arm/shoulder issues. Neither seems “right”…

Someone else mentioned Kopitar, not me. I just assume he's in his usual "I'm saving my energy for the end of the season" mode that he always goes into around this time of year.

Anderson is most certainly playing through something. You can even tell it in Drew's play....he rarely passes to Mikey, and has been taking more shots from the point than usual. (prove me wrong today, Mikey! score a huge goal from the point!)

I've been suggesting elsewhere (maybe here as well) that Kopi appear to be injured. Not necessarily anything overly serious but nagging enough to slow down his play. The all star break will be a welcome rest for him and others.
