***LA Kings vs. Edmonton Oilers GDT 12/28/24 >>1:00pm<< on FanDuel***

What a terrible turnover by Gavy. And ugh, it's former King Arvy who scored. Now the Coilers have regained the lead and it's 3-2 Deadmonton.

Seriously, this Coilers team is so unlikable (outside of Arvy a bit) that I can't respect their game no matter how they play it. And LA, didn't I say earlier to not play sloppy against this damn team?

2nd period ends. After gaining the lead, the Kings let up and gave up two goals to Edmonton and allowing the latter to get their own lead back. LA seriously has to fight back and play with more urgency in the 3rd period. Letting Edmonton back in the 2nd period was just unacceptable.

It's automatic. They score at will. There isn't hardly even any drama or competitiveness with it.
Too much high-end talent. It's almost like the Kings are resigned to the fact the Oilers are going to score on the power play regardless what they do. And it's been this way for what seems like forever.

I don't believe the Kings let up, I believe the Oilers took over and there is nothing the Kings could do to stop them. PP goal and there is nothing the Kings could do. Then pressure up the ice and a forced turnover and goal. That is a team that knows how to turn it on when they need to.

Quite frankly, I can't take Vegas fans seriously, since a majority of them consists of transplants from either SoCal, NorCal, the Midwest, or the EC who want to look for something new to support and yet seem not that connected to their team the way Miami fans are.

I wouldn't put Vancouver as among the worst fanbases in Canada, as to me they're a distant fourth place in terms of annoyance factor. Toronto, Edmonton, and Montreal have them beat by a long shot.
Regardless of what you take seriously, Vegas loves their team. Also, as an LA/SoCal fan/resident, careful knocking a city over “transplants.”

VAN fans rioted after losing in the finals. But hey, we both hate the Oilers so let’s focus on that. Although games like these make me hate the Kings.

Oh yeah, I definitely have to acknowledge the "transplant" problem in the SoCal/LA area too, as admittedly there are a lot of people who live here that, for some reason, don't seem to support LA-area sports teams, especially when it comes to the NFL, which is quite sad to be frank.

And yeah, I do have to acknowledge that Vancouver fans rioted after their Nucks team lost in the '11 Finals to Boston. And it wasn't the first time that happened, they did it back when they lost to the Rangers in the '94 Finals.

And another LA penalty. Seriously, that's an unwanted penalty and you're giving Edmonton the chance to have them gain their lead back as the PP is their specialty.
