Fine way to start this home stand. Stars are gonna be a tough battle. Kings should be ready after tonight.

A few thoughts...

1) 6 goals? Really?
2) Lafffy may not be scoring, but he is contributing
3) Ditto for Byfield
4) Despite scoring tonight, Moore still disapoints
5) Fiala en fuego
 
QB got #2 Star of the Game tonight. But, yeah, that one shot off the big rush towards the end of the 2nd period....oof! Right into the goalie's chest. I truly think he is still getting used to his man-body. At least he used his size on the boards tonight. Several good takeaways in the D zone for him.

One of the least satisfying 6-3 wins I've ever seen - maybe the very least. The Kings always have trouble playing these teams that have no rhythm and just scramble around without any discernable system. (see "Sharks Nov 25 7-2 Loss")

Oh, yeah...almost forgot about the Penalty Shot! I can't remember the last time I saw a Penalty Shot Goal in-person. Really can't even remember the last time I saw a penalty shot....feels like it was back in the Gaborik/Carter days.

Hope we can lay a beatdown on the Stars on Friday.

Best part of tonight was that it did not rain while I was walking either to or from the arena!
