***LA Kings vs. New York Islanders GDT 3/11/25 7:30pm on FanDuel

Game over. Suck it, Biles and Lee. And suck it, New York people in general. You deserved this L big time. FNYC (I hate that city and their denizens more than any other [L]EC city). And it's also a sweep by LA against this team.

So many times the Kings tried to give away this game to the Biles with those unreal eight penalties. And somehow Kuemper was on top of his game, aided by those huge, successful goalie interference challenges twice this game. But seriously, LA, as a defense-first team, you need to cut down on taking bad penalties. You're fortunate that hockey luck was on your side this time.

Can't wait to see those comments from the Biles' WTS. It's going to be a field day.

We won! Yay! It was an eventful game, that's for sure. I loved the fact that right after they tied the game we scored a minute later. But I don't like how we took 8 penalties, especially 3 pucks over the glass. We got lucky their PP is worse than ours. And we got lucky that 2 of their goals got called back. How often does that happen? This isn't a game we can repeat & have success. But for now I'll take it.

I ain't watch the game but I'm in 2nd period highlights how many breakaways did NYI have? Damn. Go Kuemper boo backhand passes to wrong team.

I had a coach at Burbank High School who would have called the Kings style of play last night "Radical abandon."

Not a long-term recipe for success, but this is one of those games the fans can really dig their teeth into.

TO and QB we're awesome. Lots of fun watching those two last night. And Darcy may have had his best game of the season. The Kings kept putting him in harms way over and over and over, and he was more than up to the task.

Once again, not a recipe for a success,, but man oh man was that fun to watch. Kinda reminded me of those early 90s Kings.

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed the final score of 4-1 and/or came within +/- 1 min of guessing 18:43 of the third for the final goal:

Big congratulations to the 4 posters who went 3 for 3 on the points and to Cross Traffic who was off on the final score by only 2 seconds. After a night of thinking on it, that was a game where the better team wins. Better coaching (quick calls on the reviews), better goaltending, and quite frankly a more talented team; to give up 8pps, not even get a shot off on 6? 2-1's and still manage to put their foot down with a responding goal less than a minute after the Isles tied it up. I feel the misery of the Isles fans watching that with their 30+ broken sticks, 2 disallowed goals, and all those PP's and nothing to show for it. If you've been around here a bit you can remember those days for sure. On to the next one, thank goodness they banked those 2 points.

Look at what happens when QB gets assertive and shoots the damn puck. He very likely has the best wrist shot on the team. Please, please, please shoot more!
If you watched the edge tool on the replay of his shot, he actually accelerated into the shot. I've not watched enough of the data to know if that's usual or not (or an artifact of the chip accelerating due to his movement and his location), but it didn't seem intuitive as a result.
