End of 1st period. The Kings get 15 SOGs and one of them resulted in a goal by Gavy on a delayed Biles penalty. A relatively strong period by LA as they held the Biles to 6 SOGs. Well, the next 40 minutes are coming up and the Kings must continue their strong showing at home by protecting their lead and getting some insurance goals.

Very entertaining first. Lots of scoring chances from both teams. And the goalies putting on a clinic. Sorokin's as good as advertised.

QB once again continues to improve in all aspects of his game. And you can tell that Kuz is dying to score his first goal as a King. He's got great hands and some great moves and he's very creative. I really like the guy. Blake Dun Gud, for change. And Kuz has Vilardi like hands.

All-in-all, I think the Kings look great tonight...playing very smart...aggressive and opportunistic, yet still disciplined.

If we keep playing like this, Sorokin will have to morph into Jesus to save this game.
 
Can't quite figure that first out other than once they got the legs going things went about how they were supposed to. Boys better keep paying attention. That had to be the longest they kept possession on a delayed penalty in a season plus. Great for gav that he scored on it and hope it is his kids bday.
 
Fiala with a big shoulder hit on Boqvist. Surprisingly, he wasn't called for interference. So he got away with what could have been a potentially bad penalty.
