***LA Kings vs. Pittsburgh Penguins GDT 1/20/25 7:30pm on FanDuel***

End of 2nd period. Just when LA finally scored a goal on the 2-man advantage, Pittsburgh scores again after getting their third goal earlier in the period, making it 4-1 Pittsburgh. Lazy defense on LA's part and Nedeljkovic goalie-ing off the Kings are what wrote those two periods. I doubt LA will ever come back in the next 20 minutes after this paltry performance this game.
 
Only good part of this game so far was the roar of the crowd when the firefighters were first making their way out to the ice. Huge applause, and everyone stood up long before they even started the tribute.

It’s been 6+ weeks since Rittich showed out with an above average game. How much longer can the team afford to have him as the back up?

Not to say this obvious loss is his fault but we’re suddenly seeing very leaky goals going in on both goalies.

The Kings finally showing some signs of life...then pull the ole Matador Defense play... with under a minute left. Just a pathetic effort there

not faulting him on goals 2,4 but ya its true.

Portillo next year maybe but he had a bad weekend too
 
Its tough when you hardly get any games like Ritch but he is probably not going to see much but the lesser of b2b's from now on.
