Everyone has pretty much summed up the highs and lows (oh, so many lows) of this game, but here's my 2 cents worth:
- the redesign of the Suite Levels looks really nice from the escalator. No more "1950's Italian-Restaurant-Owned-By-The-Mob vibe....it's all white & grey and high tech looking. (I'll try to remember to take a picture on Thursday)
-Arvidsson was not game-ready. That whole 2nd line was useless tonight.
-Vilardi - yay!! And Byfield - he learned to skate like a man over the summer - yay!!
-Hannah with the awesome National Anthem that got played on national TV!!
-Can NO ONE on this team make a pass?!?!
-Clearly Brandt Clarke is the key to this team's success & I can't wait to see him, hopefully, on Thursday - he must have been in the press box thinking, "what happened to the guys I played with all training camp? Geez, am I gonna have to save EVERYONE'S butt from all their defensive lapses all game when I finally play??"
-The pom poms were cool - one of the better giveaways in recent years. Surprised to see a lot of people left them on the floor.
-BRING YOUR OWN WATER to the Crypt and save soooo much money! Why have I never done this before?? Brought my own sealed up water bottle and saved $5.75. Now, if only the upstairs Wetzel's Pretzels would have been open.....
