0 for 2 for LA's PP. Still no conversions. Well, there was one good deflection attempt by Kopi but Comrie somehow made a glove save on that one.
 
3rd Winnipeg penalty. Come on, LA, you need to stop getting too fancy with the passes and start shooting the puck more often in the O-zone.
 
That whole offensive sequence, right there was put together by Byfield hustle getting back and putting pressure on the D as you’re going back in your own end. Great job Byfield. Won’t show up in the stats.
 
2nd period ends. Good news: LA at least finally scored one goal thanks to a successful Turcotte shot on goal at even strength. Bad news: the Kings continue to be so-so on the PP. Well, there are 20 more minutes left and LA not only has to protect their lead but get more insurance goals in favor of them.
 
Kings defense is stifling and keeping the Jets along the boards and not giving them any good chances. Might be boring, but it’s been effective so far.
