That Vilardi shootout attempt was very interesting. Almost looked like the puck went behind his stick, but it was a fake loop.

Lizotte may get bounced around the rink like rubber ball but his compete is incredible. Got rocked in the head that should have been a major, comes back and makes a diving stick save on that two on one. Third in the league drawing penalties for the second best PP in the league. He is the motor of this team every night without showing up on the scoresheet.

Really nice confident play from Byfield on Kopitar’s 2nd goal. Cuts to the middle of the ice with strength, dekes a smaller defender and makes the pass to Edler who shoots and Kopi deflects it in.

I’m a little concerned about Fiala’s melon right now. He was losing his feet quite a bit and seemed discombobulated after that collision.

The rumors of Anze Kopitar’s demise were greatly exaggerated. He’s having his best year since 2017.

He may have lost a step due to age, but he's still crafty and very adaptable, you can see that he's playing less of a power forward style and more of a finesse positional hockey as he ages and loses those steps...
