And what movie is it that you saw, you make no mention of the title in your post laugh: It sounds like you described Hostel, but FYI - Quentin Tarantino didn't direct it  Eli Roth did... just sayin' :)

From what I understand Tarantino provided absolutely no direction, simply provided the financing and thus his recognized name to attach.

If you are willing to overlook some of the worst acting ever and enjoy a gore fest with an interesting plot, see this...

I watched a screening of "American Fusion" last night.

I had no expectations for this movie, but it turned out to be quite enjoyable. Sylvia Chang is a top-notch actress in Asia and the rest of the ensemble is quite superb. The movie deals with diverse cultures and inter-cultural dating. Parts of it are cheesy but clever and funny.

I recommend for those of you guys with Yellow Fever as this movie will give you an insight to dating Chinese women. ;)

I watched the terribly underrated "The Way of The Gun" with my sister last night.

This movie kicks ass. Especially Sarah Silverman's scene at the very beginning. HILARIOUS.

I don't know how to explain this, but before I saw Lost Highway, I thought it was this movie. Please don't ask how I thought this, because I honestly don't even really know.

And the last movie I watch was 'House Of Sand And Fog'. I thought it was ohkay, but just that. I was expecting a bit more I guess, and while the acting was very good, the movie as a whole didn't really jar me like I think it was intended to.

Saw it last night... it was funny because it was so off the wall.

Saw Nacho Libre last weekend. Pretty good movie. Strange that with the Nickelodeon logo front and center, there were barely any kids when I saw it at a matinee. Must've all been at Cars still?

Also saw Click last night. Liked it. Felt like a cross between a certain movie from 1946 (It's a Wonderful Life) with goofy bits of Adam Sandler thrown-in. Walken and Beckinsale were both great.
