Last Movie Watched

I just saw Scanners for the first time, and I'm sorry to say that I was dissapointed. It's cornyness reaked of the 80's. There were some awesome effects and a few cool characters, but much of the plot and dialog were just not great.

I watched The Killer last night. Got a new DVD copy of it.

My favorite movie ever.

I love old John Woo movies! I remember my dad showing this movie to me when I was about 10. It was one of the first movies that got me to not immidiatly hate a movie just because it was subtitled (my dad learned me good :) )

Within the last week I've seen....

Hi new here, last movie, was UltraViolet, and The Hills Have Eyes

I watched Cars, Click, Tristan and Isolde, and Hardboiled.

Cars was funnier than expected. I pretty much laughed in every scene, thanks to the fact that i could because the theater was empty besides me and my girlie girl.

Click was ok. Just ok. Good at times, ridiculous in others. Some funny jokes and Kate Beckinsale made it bearable.

Tristan and Isolde. Would have been a greater movie if it elaborated more on the relationship during their time in Ireland. It was good on the fighting but it could have used longer sequences.

Hardboiled. Chow Yun Fat just amazes me in that movie. Old school, but still one of my favorites.

My girl made me see Click this weekend... it had its moments but got way too sappy at the end.

I haven't seen it, and I won't. I don't want to hear how great he did... it doesn't matter.

I saw Fun with Dick and Jane last night... pretty damn funny IMO.

I grew up on Cash, Ok Pita. The movie was a great movie...I never said I thought the casting was awesome. The love story between Johnny and June is breathtaking...truly special. That's why I like it so much.

Saw Click yesterday. It was good, a movie at all ends of the emotional spectrum. I recommend it.

I just saw A Scanner Darkly yesterday. The animation was of course very cool, but the story was horrible. Best part without a doubt was Robert Downey Jr. He was awesome in this.

Aww. That's disappointing. I've been really looking forward to this. :(
