Last Movie Watched

I watched Inglorius Basterds Blu-Ray and it kicked some serious ass. The cinema scene was classic and I am ready to watch it again already!

I remember when these three actors were just kids, and now they are adults, and I am about the same age. I feel old. Good movie, however.

I can't believe it! Wifey loved Basterds and we watched it again since she missed the beginning.

I gotta get more Quentin Tarantino films!

have you seen Reservoir Dogs? if not, that's one of his best.

Just watched 'Downfall' last night. Pretty good flick, its the one that shows the last few days of Hitler and his lackeys down in the Furherbunker in Berlin as the Red Army closed in on the city.

A bit long, but very well done IMO. If you're into WW2 stuff and haven't seen it, check it out.

Recently watched: 12 Monkeys and Brazil. Anyone else into Gilliam?

District 9 was decent, but I couldn't stop thinking about how the aliens looked like Bumblebee in Transformers.

The main reason why D9 was better than Avatar...seamless effects. How dare you compare D9, one of the greatest DEEP summer popcorn flicks to something as empty as Transformers. I usually am a big fan, but brother you are off on this one.

Watched The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus on the plane ride back to L.A. from Tokyo. In that context it was immensely entertaining. Tom Waits was priceless as The Devil. Terry Gilliam has a wonderful mind.

I watched Howard Stern's "Private Parts." Uh..... that sounded ****-erotic!

Armageddon. I've seen it soooo many times.

Nothing touches my emotional heart strings like Armageddon. Its the male "Notebook."

Ha! That's pretty good...and true. I love that flick, but the scene with that crappy Aerosmith song and Ben Affleck walking animal crackers across Liv Tyler's stomach...NEEDS TO GO!!!!!!

And it's funny...Avatar came out on dvd last week, minus all the bells and whistles...yet nobody is watching it. Cannot wait to hear opinions based solely on the actual flick. Sorry Unfiltered, but it still chafes my ass.
