Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

FUNNY FUNNY movie. (this was the last full movie I watch.) Earlier today I was watching Aliens (The best in the Thrillogy or quadrillogy)
 
I just got back from watching Enchanted. It's a good movie! Really surprised me. Amy Adams is now my new favorite actress.
 
Took the kids to see "Bee Movie" yesterday. Not a bad movie and some funny Seinfeld humor in it.

-- i like the actors though none of them are any different than they always are, and there were a couple of ooh-ah moments... i just realize more and more that as i get older, i'm not really a Stephen King fan.


Hot Fuzz

-- it was a MUCH better film than the Clerks-ish Shaun of the Dead, and a thousand times funnier than Crash.. this dude is a cool filmmaker.


The Fountain

-- stunning yarn about Mystecism and the limits of love. it's tough to feel mesmerized, enchanted and marvel while being sad. i liked this MUCH more than Aronofsky's drug flick.

Character study about the last two days of a girl's life before she plans to blow herself up in Times Square. It's a very arthouse, very slow-paced film, but I enjoyed it.

Meh. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but they need to focus less on Mary Jane and more on Brock and Marko.

Just got in from seeing PS I LOVE YOU.

Total chick flick! Probably a very good date movie if you can get past the way your gal looks with all the snot, running mascara and puffy eyes due to all the crying from 10 minutes in to the end of the movie.
