when he is in a good movie he rocks...no karate...just a good '60's ish caper flick

the bad

wow, Snipes must've been on this for a day,Phillipe and Statham deserve better. Best way to describe this...Tony Giglio...writer/director/caterer/etc saw The Usual Suspects too many times, had a good idea that would have been better in someone else's hands, and just went with it...plot holes,bad acting just doom this...sad.

and the ugly

Have not finished watching this...but it is so damned watchable...not good...but a hell of a lot of fun...

Caught Valkyrie and The Spirit today. Valkyrie was really good (9/10ish). A near top-10 2008 for me... but some parts were too slow and some were too fast. Even though you know the ending, it was still really watchable. I thought The Spirit was OK (7/10ish).

Saw this last night. Enjoyed it.
However, I think I was more amazed w/ the CGI than I enjoyed the story. It's still a wonderful film though.

I re-watched Pedro Almodovar's "Women on the Verge of the Breakdown" last night.

I bought an Almodovar set about a year ago and I barely opened it a few weeks ago. Lame.

I watched this again on Friday night as well. I was flipping channels and Children of Men was on. I hadn't seen that in a while so I watched it again. Such amazing camera work in that film. It was followed by Once so I stayed up to watch it again. Such an amazing movie. The music is so good. I was up way too late that night, but I couldn't stop watching. Two really good movies.
