I liked V For Vendetta too, it's the whole Natalie Portman in a school dress thing, lol!
Then again, I actually liked The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, lol!Actually, I don't think that said film is good, it's just a guilty pleasure, which is partly derived from the fact that the film included Dorian Gray, who did not appear in the comic, but should had.
Not a film for everybody, and not your typical Takeshi Kitano film, but it's one of the most beautiful films I've seen.

Wow. Talk about late to the party. This is an awesome show, and I am only 6 episodes in. Never liked Dominic West before, but damned if this isn't the part he was born to play. Idris Elba and a TON of great character actors. Jayzus, this is must see tv. No wonder everyone waxes nostalgiac about this show. I am pretty sure I will be waxing by the time I finish this. Good stuff.

Orph this was such a staple of my childhood...the damned hydra teeth skeletons...no better scene in motion picture history as far as I am concerned! Harryhausen simply is the best!
It's great how in sync his special effects are! I just watched Mighty Joe Young with his commentary. *LOVE* the man!
