Last Movie Watched

David Bowie's son, Duncan Jones, directed and co-wrote it. I thought it wasn't bad for a first directorial effort.
Haven't seen his second movie, "Source Code" yet....prolly in a few weeks.

A collection of old/vintage atom bomb related clips. I should had watched this while drinking because that would had made it more amusing. Remember kids, when the bomb hits, duck, roll, and cover.

Maybe Star Trek slash fiction. mhihi:

Anyways...

I have never seen this. Pretty good '80's slasher film. I am almost tempted to watch the remake. ;)

I hear the remake is pretty good. I actually bought it on Blu (for, like, $7), but haven't watched it yet.

I finished this last night.

I remember when it first came out, I wanted to see it because I thought Jack was the ****, but it got pretty bad reviews and I stayed away. Then I recently heard/read someone talking about it and saying it was cool, so when it showed up on one of the movie channels in HD, I DVR'd it.

I thought it was awesome. Jack rocks the **** out of this movie and I love how he looks like Wolverine half the time. And Michelle Pfeiffer... I've never been that big a fan of hers and never thought she was all that attractive (not ugly, but...), but she was great in this movie and pretty damn hot, too.

So, yeah... I liked it a lot. The monster effects are actually pretty decent and nowhere near as cheesy as I'd feared.

Also watched for the first time:

Nope. Had never seen it. Thought it was pretty funny. Enjoyable. Would watch it again, but don't think I'd buy it.

I bought this at Big Lots for $3. I had never seen it and it has a commentary track that includes Simon Pegg's mom, so I figured it would be worth $3. It's not bad. Has it's moments and is worth watching. Haven't listened to that commentary track yet.

Never saw Kingpin??? ELO's Showdown has never ever been the same for me.

Run Fatboy Run is such a charming little piece of fluff. Dylan Moran makes that movie. LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Wasn't this a pick me upper? Bardem's plays a man who is dying of cancer who is ridden with guilt and tries to hide his disease from his children. Bardem's performance as usual is solid.

My first time watching this Hitchcock film with Henry Fonda being accused of a crime he didn't commit. Interesting enough.

Awwww insomnia!

Movie with Jack Palance and Martin Landau playing homicidal mental patients. What's not to like? ;)

Watched "Take Me Home Tonight". Pretty good 80s era flick. It was on the shelf for 4 years? Anna Faris looked near unrecognizable when she first appeared.

Just started watching the documentary Catfish and wondering if I should finish it? Anyone seen this and if so is it real?

I just saw this in the last month and I quite enjoyed it. The marketing made it out to be some Blair Witch horror film but it's really not. I found it interesting to say the least. Not really suspenseful, although it has some moments, but it's more of a curiosity. The special features make it out to seem real so I'm pretty sure it is, but who knows. If you've started it I'd say finish it.
