Last Movie Watched

For a little light viewing I can recommend

"A Night at the Museum," which I saw last weekend with the kids and my wife. We enjoyed it.

I believe they were Mayan.

that wasn't really a question. i would've LIKED to have believed they were Mayan... i mean, they certainly "looked" Mayan... about three different eras of Maya, with Aztec behavior towards sacrfice and worshipping a similar sun god whom did NOT require human sacrifice anyway.

then, there was a little girl in the movie with what i assume was smallpox.

...and the white man at the end?

maybe they should've made these guys discover fire at the beginning too.

I haven't seen this movie, but I'm not surprised that Gibson got his facts wrong. I'm shocked that he didn't have one of the Mayan actors do that penis blood sacrifice.

The Devil and Daniel Johnston

You don't have to like or know his music to like this documentary, but it helps if you're open minded when it comes to music, etc. Even if you hate his music, I still think you can enjoy this film.

Just got back from watching Smokin' Aces. Lotsa blood, some funny moments. Jeremy Piven played one hell of a coke fiend.

Pretty ****in' awesome. I like Vincent Cassell more and more everytime I see him in a movie. I'm starting to see what Monica Bellucci sees in him.

Still think Vinnie should've got the Joker part in The Dark Knight. I trust Nolan, so we'll see.

His nepotism concerns me, as well. His brother Jonathan shares writing credit on The Prestige, which I enjoyed greatly. But, a Batman movie is something else. I don't know the guy's background, but not using Goyer could be a mistake. (Yeah, yeah, I know DG's writing gigs are locked until 2020, but this is how **** get's ****ed up.)

Yeah, but he's no Lubo, adgy.
