Solid premise and could have been really good but subplots revolving around Demi Moore drag the film down. Costner did a good job. It's still worth a rental when it's released on DVD.

I checked it out at the Nu-Wilshire with my girlfriend last night... the premise is awesome - genetically altered sheep go nuts and start eating people laugh: but it was totally enjoyable with solid gore and werewolf elements. Not in the same league as Dead Alive which it was obviously influenced by (Black Sheep is also made in New Zealand) but it is still a must see, even for the concept alone.

Interesting premise: 18 different shorts, each taking place in a different neighborhood of Paris, each with a different director and cast.
Directors include: Wes Craven, the Coen Brothers, Alexander Payne, Walter Salles, Gerard Depardieu, Gus Van Sant...
Actors include: Nick Nolte, Ben Gazzara, Fanny Ardant, Bob Hoskins, Juliette Binoche, Willem Dafoe, Gena Rowlands, Natalie Portman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Miranda Richardson, Elijah Wood, Emily Mortimer, Steve Buscemi....and a whole ****load of French actors.
Great film. It helps if you've been to Paris. Also it's the type of movie you definitely want to see it with your better half.

One of the best. I'd say it sits right behind Deadman's Shoes near the top of the all-time great revenge movies.

The first thirty minutes or so were funny... but had me wondering a bit what all the hype was about. THEN those two people got decaffeinated and **** JUST GOT REAL. It was AWESOME from there on. Months behind the rest of you but I Friggin LOVED IT.
