Gots my tickets for Vegas and the Forum. It was very nice of them to space the shows two months apart.

There needs to be an online petition I can sign demanding they change their minds about not playing Empire Of The Clouds. So what if it is 18 minutes long?

Meet Hevisaurus, The Finland Dinosaur Metal Band For Children
http://uproxx.com/music/2015/10/hevisaurus-dinosaur-metal-band-for-children/

Imagine Barney, the childhood icon that sung about love and other cute stuff, was a diehard heavy metal fan and started a band with Baby Bop, B.J. and Riff? Well, that’s essentially what Hevisaurus is.

Courtesy of Noisey, we learn that the group (made up of Herra Hevisaurus, Milli Pilli, Komppi Momppi, Riffi Raffi and Muffi Puffi) has been around since 2009, having released seven albums and even having multiple tribute bands in countries from around the world. But the best part about Hevisaurus (aside from the fact that they are “bloodthirsty warrior beasts” that “drink milk, eat cookies, and stay in school”)? The fact that they have a backstory that almost puts Gwar’s to shame.

Check out their latest music video “Juranoid” below (and look at all the cute parents with their cute kids in the audience), as well as their website, where you can find out each dinosaur’s favorite food and more.

Because...Finland.

These Guns N’ Roses Reunion Rumors Are Heating Up With Some Very Telling Hints

GUNS N’ ROSES REPORTEDLY “DAYS AWAY” FROM ANNOUNCING A REUNION TOUR
http://eddietrunk.com/guns-n-roses-reportedly-days-away-from-announcing-a-reunion-tour/

Oh man. You just KNOW Steven Adler is gonna get f'd out.

The story is that Adler AND Sorum are getting f'd out, along with Izzy. Regardless, this is about 20 years too late. Anyone who buys tickets to see Axl Rose sing is a fool. David Lee Roth thinks his voice is shot.

There is no easy way to say this…our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer. He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from The Rainbow which had recently made its way down the street, with his family.
We cannot begin to express our shock and sadness, there aren’t words.
We will say more in the coming days, but for now, please…play Mot?rhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy’s music LOUD.
Have a drink or few.
Share stories.
Celebrate the LIFE this lovely, wonderful man celebrated so vibrantly himself.
HE WOULD WANT EXACTLY THAT.

Holy crap! Municipal Waste, Repulsion, Ghoul, and a version of Terrorizer are coming to town this weekend!

Also there's a Lemmy tribute going on at the Rainbow on the 9th from 2pm- 2am.

....and there doesn't seem to be anything scheduled next door at the Roxy, so maybe something impromptu and endearing and totally awesome for the event will happen? Just speculation. Jeff Hanneman's memorial rocked.

1/19: AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO THE FANS OF “THAT METAL SHOW”
http://eddietrunk.com/119-an-important-message-to-the-fans-of-that-metal-show/

A message to the loyal fans of That Metal Show from Eddie, Jim & Don:
We are sorry to report that VH1 Classic will not continue to make any new episodes of That Metal Show. It has been an incredible run of eight years, roughly 125 episodes and some really cool specials. The global response to TMS has been simply amazing, and we will be eternally grateful for the support from the rock and metal fans that have showed us so much love. We truly would have never made it as long as we did without you! A huge thanks also to the great crews we had over the years both in NYC and Los Angeles, to our producer Jeff Baumgardner, and to all the executives at VH1. And finally, thanks to the hundreds of artists that joined us on our set, had fun with us, shared their stories and many, many laughs. From the biggest names in rock history, to the up-and-comers: we thank you all for being a part of it.
Of course we very much want to keep That Metal Show alive, and with the blessing of VH1 Classic, we’ve got the keys to the show and are currently searching for a new home. We’re not sure where we’ll land, but we hope to be back in our studio and your living rooms as soon as possible.

Music, in particular...hard rock, disappears even further from the mainstream landscape. Here's to hoping they find a new home.

The BluRay of Devin Townsend's 2015 Royal Albert Hall show is nothing short of amazing.
