I am serious. So wonderfully bad. :D

It was so bad that I demanded my money back...and I was REVIEWING it at the time...

I was just screwing around on IMDB and came upon this page:

http://www.imdb.com/year/1984/?ref_=tt_ov_inf

How many GREAT friggn movies came out in 1984? They just dont have years like this anymore. :(

G-Damn what a list!

I need to rent "Paris, Texas" this weekend. What a great movie! I havent watched that in 30 years.

This movie is sooooooo good. And it shouldn't be. An NFL sponsored melodrama with all kinds of product showcasing. But damn it. It is. Kevin Costner took a beating through the years. In the back 9 of his career he seems very centered and it translates. And it's about the Cleveland Browns, the leagues most moribund franchise in the # 1 sad sack city in the nation. LOVE this flick.

"Splash" at #24 (way too high) and "Starman" way down at 50 (way too low)???? who made this list? "The Last Starfighter" clear down at 26 is a bit suspicious, also, although I have not seen that one in awhile, so it may not be as amazing as I recall.

I just watched "Let's Be Cops" while giving platelets today, and I loved it! I had to stop myself from laughing out loud too much so the other people there didn't think I was crazy

This may be based on the same criteria as the IMDB top 250 list, which means only ratings from "regular" IMDB voters are counted. That's why the list doesn't necessarily seem to be in order of user rating. IMDB does not disclose what qualifies a "regular" voter.

Splash was awful. I saw it in the theater (Tyler Mall Cinema, HA!) when it came out and the only thing I remember was seeing Daryl Hannah's tits...which was clearly a benchmark for a 12 year old kid. :)

Another one I have a soft spot for is:

I havent watched it in probably 25 years and to be honest, I dont want to see it again. I'm sure it would ruin my memories of seeing it the first time.

Its probably horrible.

Zorro in space or whatever the hell they are making now reminded me of this one, which is actually really funny.
