Team's leading goal scorer in prime scoring area passes up a shot for a no-look behind the back pass with no chance of connecting and probably wouldn't have resulted in a goal even if it had. Moore looks lost tonight.
 
2nd period over. Well, things certainly picked up for both teams, but Nashville is currently on top 2-1. The Kings are playing like they're still groggy from the 6-game road trip. Rittich is still the best player of the Kings on the ice in this game, but his teammates are wearing him down by making sloppy plays and allowing Nashville to establish their forecheck with near-impunity, potentially wasting his otherwise great performance in net. LA has got to re-vitalize themselves and get back playing like they're truly frustrated and want to stick it to Nashville in the 3rd period.
