well, of course they score, by way the Kings were playing there. Or should I say, lack of playing there.
 
How do you from such a good first period to a dumpster fire second? This is what frustrates me about this team. Peterson doing his best all season trying to keep them in it. If the kings aren’t pressing their offense and are put into a defensive position, they can’t gain any control. This is one of the worst defensive kings teams I can remember. Dumb hopeful plays, bad coverage, always behind the play.

No excuse for the sloppy second, but two of those goals were seeing eye wonders. Can we have the first period focus back now please?
 
A complete screen on the first goal and then 2 very fortunate bounces? Is that how this season has gone?

Of course, Kupari with the holding delayed call didn’t help.
