anybody else here get mildly annoyed by "Game Thread" on the Press Box because 90% of the time it fails to account for the last goal scored?ENG by Fiala! Good job!

Malot recalled, it will be interesting to see what he can bring.I felt that was a more entertaining game than the 7-2 blow outs tho I like a close game moreso. Finding other ways to win is nice. Quick looked grumpy as usual (tears). Kuzmenko is being Kuzperfectfitforusrightnow which is good timing as well as the surge of Byfield and Fiala and even Moore and Danault seeming to find some game. All good things!
Ugh I'll be pissed he'd be huge against the Oilers I think. His stick smack showed I think he knows he's out for a bit.
I was there and I have no idea what happened to him! It was not the fight - he took Rempe DOWN with a huge right hook. I was distracted by my 3 year old granddaughter who was going into "I'm-way-past-my-bedtime-and-getting-loopy" mode in the 3rd, though.Missade the game, can anyone please tell me what happened to Jeannot? Hurt while fighting Rempe?
I’ve really liked his game the last couple of games so hopefully he’ll be back asap!!
He did not get hurt fighting him. I don't believe the showed the replay. He either got hit with a shot or fell awkwardly near the net at the beginning of the 3rd. He limped to the bench and slammed his stick on the boards as he went off.I was there and I have no idea what happened to him! It was not the fight - he took Rempe DOWN with a huge right hook. It would be unfortunate if he is done for the season. I thought he would play an important role in the playoffs. It is what it is...If Jeannot played his final game of the season I think he’s absolutely earned a contract extension. Once he found his role he showed that he can be extremely effective. Bring him back next season and let’s run it back.
Mallot being recalled today from Ontario doesn't bode well for Jeannot's return to the lineup. Hope it's not a fracture. It would be unfortunate if he is done for the season. I thought he would play an important role in the playoffs. It is what it is...
Took a hard shot off his foot. Limped to the bench and didn’t return.
Upper body injury? That doesn't make sense considering he limped off. What the upper body injury referring to Turcotte instead?Guess I was wrong about where he got hit. Mayor is saying upper body injury. I just remember Foxy saying "uh-oh" when he saw Jean-o crumple and labor getting back to the bench. I don't remember them showing a replay though. It did look like he was favoring 1 leg and the assumption was he was hit by the puck. Sorry for any misinformation.
Just saw a clip and the shot did hit him high... hoping for the best.
Kings haven't won a faceoff since the first period.
Yeah… everything I see now says “undisclosed”. Can’t find again where I read “UBI” this morning. I thought he was limping off the ice too but a short .gif a guy posted on the Insider blog looked like the shot went up high. Confused…Upper body injury? It does not bode well for Tanner, at all, however, Malott is one of the leading scorers for Ontario, with 51 points in 61 games. He also stands 6’4” and goes about 205lbs, with 80 PIMS, so he’s a veritable carbon copy of Jeannot. Let’s hope he can replicate the same type of contributions at the NHL level that Tanner has started to provide the last 7-8 games. He’s also only played one NHL game previously, so I think Malott will be quite hungry to prove himself..Mallot being recalled today from Ontario doesn't bode well for Jeannot's return to the lineup. Bummer for Tanner, he was playing so well. My first thought was he broke his foot. Here's also hoping we don't see the return of 11-7.Bummer for Tanner, he was playing so well. My first thought was he broke his foot. Sucks.
As for Malott, he's a big guy. Depending upon your source, he's between 6'5" and 6'3" and 201 lbs and 208 lbs.
Jeannot's physicality has been a huge factor in our recent success. Those are so big shoes to fill.
So here's hoping Malott breaks out the Mallet and punishes people.
Hiller is saying he's day-to-day as is Turc. But he also threw in "as we sort things out" on TJ. So there is reason for optimism. It would be unfortunate if he is done for the season. I thought he would play an important role in the playoffs. It is what it is...
