There's a reason he's unofficially nicknamed Crosby West. He's just as unlikable and whiny as Crosby is.

Oh, and same goes for Draisaitl, who's unofficially nicknamed Malkin West. Two peas on the same pod.
 
9.5m for a 3/4 d that is slotted at #1. Great asset management there. Drai is going to walk after this upcoming season and McDives is leaving the season after that.

Trading for Henrique and signing Perry sure hasn't helped this final. Those two are cooked.

As much as Nurse's horrible-ness has been a thing...Drai, McD, Hyman and Bouchard going 0-fer goals in the first 3 games has been a huge deal. And while the Perry signing hasn't helped the OIL in the final, it has done wonders for my attitude watching him fail in the finals with 4 (!) different teams.

Gotta give the FL PK a ton of credit.
The Oilers game is to draw penalties and score on the PP, which is what all their flopping, diving and crying is about.
FL has shut down the one advantage EDM has.
Then it’s just showing how little depth EDM has and exposed the Oilers pitiful defense.

Nurse became a FA and there was a lot of hype surrounding him which led to a bidding war. I recall people on this board hoping the Kings would get him.
Nurse was at best an adequate defenseman, never remotely worth this type of money.

One thing about certain players is their inability to learn from their mistakes. Nurse is the poster-child for that. He makes the same bad reads, loses his man in coverage, finds himself out of position frequently. Happens every game.

Bouchard is similar but worse in his basic ability to handle the puck.

So, if some guy goes flying into your captain and top scorers on your team with an elbow and leaves his feet, you’ll chalk it up to “it’s a rough sport” and “he didn’t mean to do it because there was only a few mins left in the game?” C’mon bud. We all know you’d flip your lid, calling for a suspension. And rightfully so. He really shouldn’t have made this video.

Don't forget McDavid's dirty hit on Mickey Anderson in last years playoffs. It was worthy of a major penalty.
 
While I'm glad there is one more game left, and I have a team to STRONGLY root for, I would have preferred to have this ended at 6.

A cup for Kane, 'Cross Check' Nurse, and Rat Face Perry will leave a dirty taste in my mouth the entire off season. That's got to be the most hated group in hockey atm.
